Physical disability support is a form of care designed to help individuals with physical impairments live safely, comfortably, and as independently as possible. It focuses on removing barriers in everyday life and providing the right level of assistance so people can maintain control, dignity, and choice in how they live.
This type of support can include help with daily living activities such as personal care, dressing, washing, eating, moving around the home, and using mobility aids. For some individuals, support may involve assistance with transfers (for example, from bed to wheelchair), posture care, or the safe use of equipment such as hoists, wheelchairs, or walking aids. The aim is always to enable independence wherever possible, not to take over.
Our aim is to provide person-centred physical disability support that promotes independence, dignity, and choice. We work alongside each individual and their families to deliver tailored, practical care that supports daily living, enhances wellbeing, and enables people to live confidently within their homes and communities.
